About the Private Studio: Explore pranayama (breathing), balance asanas and a flow of seated and standing postures with variations of forward bends and twists, ending with Savasana (guided resting asana) in a pure unadulterated Yoga format, Iyengar influenced. Smaller class size lends itself to a more exclusive personal experience that doesn’t leave you lost in the crowd. Pre-Registration is required.

About The Instructor: Jamie Martin Wilson is a Senior Level Certified Yoga Teacher with 30 years of practice and 25 Years of yoga teaching experience as well as meditation, reiki, and yoga nidra. She was one of the very first yoga teachers in Harford County and worked a diverse network of freelance positions before opening her studio to provide group and private classes.
After working several decades as a pathology lab manager & researcher, Jamie incorporates her background of Anatomy to the class. Her knowledge of alignment principals helps her guide students safely, allowing them maximum benefit from the practice. She is devoted to compassionately working with individuals with varying physical levels and expectations for those that want to be challenged, beginner or intermediate.
Jamie's work integrates yoga and mindfulness; her teaching style offers clear progressive instruction, with an emphasis on body awareness, leading to personal transformation. As someone who has suffered through breast cancer and several physical interruptions, she has experience in recovering from real life traumas. Live, pause, regroup, resume!
